On Saturday, Acacia Park Lutheran Church members headed over to United in Faith to volunteer in New Life for Old Bags. This service project turns regular plastic grocery store bags into sleeping mats for those who are unhoused. It’s a great transformation of an item that typically ends up in a landfill into something that portable, durable, and comforting for others
