On Candlemas, we remember how Christ was revealed in the temple through the faithful testimony of Simeon and Anna—two elders whose lives were rooted in prayer, hope, and expectation. In their example, we give thanks for the elders in our congregation who embody that same steadfast faith. Their insight, resilience, and lived experience enrich our life together and help us see God’s promises with clearer eyes.
