Ash Wednesday

In the morning, neighbors stopped by for coffee and Ashes‑to‑Go, receiving a blessing as they started their day. Epiphany Blessing Bags
This weekend carried the quiet glow of Epiphany, the shift from Christmas to the steady light that guides us into a new year. We heard again the story of the Magi—travelers who followed a star with nothing but trust and curiosity. Congregants were sent home with Blessing Bags so that they could mark their ownContinue reading “Epiphany Blessing Bags”
Cookie Exchange & Craft Event
Last Sunday, we hosted our annual cookie exchange. Over 500 yummy cookies were baked and shared. And a few other fun things happened too!
New Life for Old Bags
On Saturday, Acacia Park Lutheran Church members headed over to United in Faith to volunteer in New Life for Old Bags. This service project turns regular plastic grocery store bags into sleeping mats for those who are unhoused. It’s a great transformation of an item that typically ends up in a landfill into something thatContinue reading “New Life for Old Bags”
